Write for WBB

Wealth Building Baddie publishes practical content for ambitious women who are building a side hustle, running a small business, growing a career, or doing all three at once. Most of our readers are women between 25 and 45. They are already working on something, and they come here for strategy they can act on this week.

If you write from experience about careers, business, digital products, AI, or the systems that hold all of it together, we want to read your work.

This page covers what we publish, what we don't, how to format your article, and how to submit it. Read the whole thing before you send anything.

Why write for WBB

You reach a specific audience. Our readers are building intentionally. They are not looking for motivation or hype. They want the next step, the tool that saves them an hour, or the pricing model that actually works.

You get one do-follow backlink. One contextual, editorial link to your website or portfolio inside the article body, plus a second link in your author bio.

Your article keeps working. Every post on wealthbuildingbaddie.com is written around a search term and repurposed for Pinterest and our newsletter. Guest posts get the same treatment, so a good article here sends traffic for months, not days.

You build authority in a specific lane. WBB sits at the intersection of career growth and business ownership. Very few brands publish there consistently. If that's your expertise, this is one of the better places to show it.

The WBB angle

Most brands pick one lane: get a better job, quit your job, or save and invest. We publish in the fourth lane: use your career to fund your business, and use your business to build wealth.

Every article we accept answers some version of this question: how does this help a woman earn more, build more, or own more?

Guest post guidelines

Articles that don't follow these will not be considered.

Content standards

Original content only. Your article can't be published anywhere else, including your own blog, Medium, LinkedIn, or Substack. We check.

Human-written. Using AI to research, outline, or edit is fine. Submitting an article that is primarily AI-generated is not. We run detection tools, and machine-sounding content is rejected without review.

Written from experience. Tell us what you did, what it cost, and what happened. Specific numbers beat vague claims every time, even when the numbers are small.

Plagiarism-free. Copied sentences or paragraphs end the review.

Fact-checked. Any statistic or claim needs a link to a credible, current source inside the article.

Length

Minimum 1,000 words. Aim for 1,500 to 2,500. A focused 1,300-word article beats a padded 2,000-word one.

Formatting

  • H2 and H3 headings, with a subheading roughly every 200 to 300 words
  • Paragraphs of 2 to 4 sentences
  • Bullet points and numbered lists where they help
  • Bold sparingly, for key takeaways only
  • Submit as a Google Doc (comment access on) or a Markdown file

Images

Images are optional. If you include them, each one needs descriptive alt text and must be relevant to the section it sits in.

We accept two kinds of images:

  • Royalty-free photos that you've taken yoursel OR from Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay, or similar. No watermarked or copyrighted images.
  • AI-generated images, as long as they illustrate the topic rather than fake evidence for it.

AI-generated images can't be used to show results. That means no fabricated analytics dashboards, earnings screenshots, revenue charts, client messages, testimonials, or anything a reader would take as proof. If you're showing real results, use a real screenshot. If you're illustrating a concept, an AI image is fine.

Send images as separate labeled files, or embed them in the Google Doc with alt text noted.

Backlink policy

You get one do-follow backlink in the article body. It must:

  • Sit naturally in the content around it
  • Point to a real, high-quality page on your site
  • Read as a reference, not an advertisement

You may also include one link in your author bio.

We don't link to affiliate spam, thin pages, MLMs, crypto schemes, gambling, adult content, or black-hat SEO services. We reserve the right to edit, remove, or nofollow any link.

What we don't accept

  • Articles already published elsewhere
  • Primarily AI-generated content
  • Surface-level content with no original insight or experience
  • Articles that read as a product ad
  • Poor grammar and spelling
  • Off-topic submissions
  • Multiple backlinks or links to low-quality sites
  • Anything on the "topics we don't publish" list above

How to submit

We only review finished articles. Pitches and topic ideas without a draft are not reviewed.

  1. Read this page in full.
  2. Pick a specific topic from the list above. "How to make money online" is too broad. "How I priced my first $27 template and what I'd change" is the right size.
  3. Search wealthbuildingbaddie.com to confirm we haven't already covered your angle.
  4. Write the full article following the guidelines.
  5. Submit through the form below.

Response time

Acknowledgment within 2 to 3 business days

Editorial decision within 5 to 7 business days

Publication within 14 days of approval, if accepted

If you haven't heard back after 10 business days, send a follow-up to info@wealthbuildingbaddie.com with your article title in the subject line.

We don't provide detailed feedback on declined submissions.

Editing and internal links

Our team may make light edits for clarity, grammar, SEO, and formatting. We won't change your core argument. If a larger edit is needed, we'll discuss it with you first.

We may also add internal links to related WBB content, including our website templates, resume resources, free guides, and blog posts. This is standard practice and helps your article rank.
